Obih Chosen Ekene – Basic Science
Obih Chosen Ekene holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Biotechnology from Godfrey Okoye University Enugu. Chosen is one teacher that is known for his love of science. His teaching philosophy is using variety of materials and methods to make science fun. As Radio School Basic Science teacher, he engaged the students with activities and drills for them to understand better. He believes that all students can achieve success as long as they are provided with the opportunity and are willing to work for it.
Humphrey Nnamuchi Chiedozie – Civic Education
Humphrey Nnamuchi Chiedozie studied at St Theresa’s College Nsukka and holds a Bachelors Degree in Political Science Education from Enugu State University of Science and Technology. He is currently a Masters Degree student at National Open University of Nigeria studying Educational Administration and Planning.
Humphrey is a Civic Education teacher at Godfrey Okoye University Secondary School Enugu. He also volunteers his free time to train secondary school students in Tailoring, Hair cutting and Photography. As the Civic Education teacher in Radio School, he strives to promote proper acquisition of knowledge and skills for a solid and greater nation.
Amaka Blossom Chime – English Language
Amaka Blossom Chime has a BA in English Language and Literature from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. She has an award as the best graduating student and is currently an MA student at Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka.
Amaka is a Graduate Assistant at Godfrey Okoye University, Enugu State where she is engaged in teachin, research and creative writing. She has written some poems including Achebe’s Ulogue and Shakespeare’s Ulogue.
Popularly known as ABC in the Radio School project, she believes in, ‘learn all you can and teach all you know’.
Ikechukwu Okoye – Mathematics
Ikechukwu Okoye holds a Higher National Diploma in Electrical Electronics Engineering from Akanu Ibiam Federal Polytechnic Uwana, BSC with Honours in Mathematics Education from Enugu State University of Technology and Post Graduate Diploma in Public Administration from Usman Danfodio University, Sokoto Nigeria.
Ikechukwu has taught for over three years and a member of the Mathematical Association of Nigeria (MAN) and a registered teacher with Teachers’ Registration Council of Nigeria. Currently, he is developing a method of increasing students’ interest and ability to study mathematics as a subject through practical mathematics.
Radio School is simply interesting! It is a whole new approach to learning.
